Objective of Error Tracking System

Error Tracking System is a web based application which has been developed over PHP and MySQL and runs on WAMP, XAMP or Apache2 server.. The main modules of the project is Error,Tracking,Developer,Project Manager,Project. Admin user can manage all the operations of Project Manager,Project,Error,Tester,Tracking and their details. Admin can create different type of reports of Error,Tracking,Developer,Project Manager,Project according to their choise and filters. Functionalities and their descriptions of Error Tracking System are as follows:

  • You can search records on various criterias. Such as Error, Developer, Project Manager, Project

Database definition of Error Tracking System:

  • The details of Error is store into the Error tables respective with all tables
  • Each entity (Project, Tester, Project Manager, Tracking, Error) contains primary key and unique keys.
  • The entity Tester, Project Manager has binded with Error, Tracking entities with foreign key
  • There is one-to-one and one-to-many relationships available between Project Manager, Developer, Project, Error
  • All the entities Error, Project Manager, Tester, Project are normalized and reduce duplicacy of records
  • We have implemented indexing on each tables of Error Tracking System tables for fast query execution.

Super admin functionality of Error Tracking System:

  • Admin can add, edit, delete and view the records of Error, Project Manager, Tester, Project
  • Admin can manage all the details of Tracking, Tester, Developer, Project Manager
  • Admin can also generate reports of Error, Tracking, Tester, Developer
  • Admin can search the details of Error, Project Manager, Tester, Project
  • Admin can apply different level of filters on report of Error, Tester, Project

  • Developer,Project Manager,Project has been integrated with the dynamic filter. So you can filter the records run time
  • You can also import the report data into PDF of Developer,Project Manager,Project
  • Excel Sheet report has also been integrated for Tracking,Developer,Project
  • You can create the CSV reports for Error,Project Manager,Tester

Limitation of Error Tracking System

  • Run time report generation is not available in Error Tracking System.
  • We have not implemented the dynamic report for Error,Developer,Project Manager,Tracking,Tester,Project
  • This project Error Tracking System has not been developed on Model View Controller architecture, so its very complex to manage
  • Batch mode execution for Off-line reports of Error, Developer, Project cannot be generated.
  • Crystel report has not been integrated

Input Data and Validation of Error Tracking System

  • We have added all the validations for input value on the modules Error,Tracking,Tester
  • Developer,Project Manager,Project can not be submited without filling all the inout fields
  • Duplicate values testing has been implemented on Error,Tester,Project
  • CSRF token has also been implemented on Developer,Tracking,Error, Project Manager,Project
  • All the Error,Developer,Project Manager,Tracking,Tester,Project has integrated with captcha for spam protections
  • Access level validation has been implemented on Project,Project Manager,Developer
  • Number and character validation has also been implemented on Tester,Project Manager,Error
